As a Sterling Sound Mastering Engineer and full time assistant to Chief Engineer Ted Jensen, Justin brings a unique combination of experience and technical expertise to his mastering projects. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2000, Justin moved to New York City to work at Right Track Recording Studios. There, he quickly became a favorite assistant to legendary (and demanding) engineers Elliot Scheiner and Frank Filipetti as well as many other well established engineers. He also worked alongside world renowned producer Phil Ramone and hip hop duo The Neptunes. In a few short years, Justin advanced to recording large orchestras for Broadway cast albums including "Boy from Oz", and films like "The Producers". As a freelance engineer, Justin recorded projects for Grammy Award winners Los Loney Boys and hip hop star LL Cool J. In 2006, Justin joined Sterling Sound as Ted Jensen's assistant. Working alongside one of the busiest mastering engineers in the world exposes him to a whirlwind of major label artists and diverse genres. Recent projects include re-mastering catalogs for the Beatles, Billy Joel and David Bowie as well as the mastering of the newest releases from Maroon 5, Slipknot, Ray LaMontagne, Sigur Ros, Lenny Kravitz and Bjork.
